Platform Implementation Manager – Covering London & Essex

Our client is a leading life & Pensions provider and distributor of Investment products for the corporate and personal markets.  The Platform Business delivers the complete proposition to customers, including research & development, pricing, communications and service and client management propositions, with the aim of creating and effectively communicating a market leading offering. This includes the development and ownership of the P&L for the Platform Business.

The Platform Service team exists to ensure the desired platform service is provided to customers and intermediaries and to facilitate the adoption of the platform proposition by advisers and customers.

Job Purpose: you will be required to develop, manage and deliver a range of implementation services (including technical services such as business consultancy and project management) and training to support the Platform Sales Teams, primarily to advisers and their staff, to increase the adoption of the platform proposition in a cost effective manner consistent with the commercial objectives of the Platform business

Your experience will include sound experience of financial planning and an understanding of the Financial Services industry and the platform market in particular, also of platform propositions and distribution channels. Competitor awareness and knowledge of platform products and investments, programme/project management and with an understanding of profitability measures, targets and drivers. You will be familiar with the issues involved in running an advisory business including the key financial dynamics and drivers and business controls and of course knowledge of legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements and issues.

A good understanding of adviser back office systems and processes,and financial services distribution and advisory businesses along with a strong grasp of platform technology solutions and experience of portfolio/project delivery Direct experience of building face to face relationships with advisers is a must.

Qualifications:a business related degree and recognized professional project management qualification would be beneficial Ideally FPC qualified or higher

Base up to 40k + annual KPI bonus
